242px-Sonic and the Black Knight (Wii)

Box art for American Sonic and the black Knight.

Sonic and the Black Knight is the second entry of the Sonic story book series, pre-cursored by Sonic and the Secret Rings. The game takes Sonic's speed and attempted to mix it with Zelda styled combat, more specifically, Twilight Princess. The game got mixed to negative scores, with praises going to art direction, graphics, and music, with everything else being panned. Johnny falls under that, but Elliot stood for the game's defense.

InfoEdit

Following the dark age of Sonic, Sonic and the Secret Rings and Sonic Unleashed seemingly brought the hedgehog justice from plain badness to mediocre, but Black Knight ruined that hope. The game was released in 2009, a follow-up to Secret Rings. The game was panned for just about anything that isn't presentation based.

SomecallmeJohnnyEdit

As the second and final video of the original month of Sonic, Johnny AND Elliot tackled the this game. Johnny, being the purist, bashed the game for straying from the formula, as well as citing control issues. Elliot however saw it as a fresh experience, if not flawed, Both praised the plot twist, graphics, and music. Johnny rated it a 5/10, with Elliot viewing it with a 7.5/10.
